Over the Christmas holidays, organizing some tools, I realized my screwdriver collection was in pretty poor shape. I can’t even remember the last time I purchased a new screwdriver…

I actually think most of them were in a tool-box that my wife had — when we first met. I’ve bought plenty of tools over the years, but new screwdrivers, apparently.

So; I ordered some Wera screwdriver sets, and a few other things 👇

When I got serious about my electronics lab — I found it useful to see what equipment other people have in their labs. I got a lot of information from EEVblog’s video on How To Set Up An Electronics Lab.

In our new house there is an 20 m² basement, it consists of two rooms — both 10 m². I have turned the inner room into my new home office/server room, with my electronics lab and homelab.

My electronics lab is tiny, so I’ve had to make the best of the space I do have. Soldering with fume extraction, instruments like an oscilloscope, function generator, bench power supplies.

I really love the shelf rail system I have on the wall by the electronics lab; it distributes the load evenly over a large surface, and it’s incredibly easy to move things around and try out different solutions. By squeezing some of the existing shelves a bit closer and moving the wire rolls; I was able to fit yet another shelf 🙂
